How to Measure

Each Item Has Its Own Size Guide

We have a wide range of sizes to accommodate a wide range of cinephiles. For this reason, each item has its own size guide. Your perfect size may be different from item to item. Just because you are a "medium" for our t shirts does not mean a "medium" button down will be the appropriate choice. It's always best to find the best size for each item you order.

Garment Measurements vs. Body Measurements:

The best way to get a good fit is to measure a similar garment you already own and match it to our nearest size. When in doubt, select a size up to ensure a good fit.

All of our size guides are shown in garment measurements, in inches. These tables display the measurements of the finished garments themselves. If you do not have a similar garment to measure you can take body measurements, but be sure to size up, usually by a few inches, depending on the fit you prefer.

If you are using body measurements as a starting point, here is a guide taking them:

CHEST: With arms at your side, measure around your upper body, under your armpits and over the fullest part of your chest and shoulder blades.

WAIST:  Bend to one side to find the natural crease of your waist. Measure at this point, keeping the tape comfortably loose around your waist.

INSEAM: Measure similarly styled pants that fit you well. Measure from the crotch seam to the hem.
